Birthing Spirit Bundle
The inspiration for these bundles felt truly led by spirit, as this spring while I was literally "spring cleaning" my studio I began to notice just how many animal talismans I had been collecting over the years and began filling a small bowl with them, saving them for later.
As I sat down to cleanse and prepare them for whatever their next life was to become the idea of creating small spirit bundles with medicines in it came to me, and so these bundles were born.
If you have an animal guide you wish to honour, or wish keep the essence of it's medicine close to you, these sweet bundles offer a practical way to do that. Carry them in your purse or car, or place on your altar or even bedside table.
Each bundle has been created so that they can be opened up and more elements can be added over time.
Each bundle is cleansed and smudged before finding it's new home, and will be lovingly packaged before being shipped out to you.
This bundle was inspired by the power and strength women find within themselves when they are giving birth. The bundle can be carried and used during labour to support and remind the birthing woman of her strength, or even used by a woman who has given birth years ago but could use the reminder of how strong and powerful she is to have given birth at all!
The womb is a powerful and sacred part of a woman's body and as such should be hoinoured and cherished.
Inside the bundle I have placed a pinch of a sacred female herbal bled containing Motherwort, Nettles, Roses, Cacao paste and Damiana. I also added cowrie shell which is a divine symbol of the yoni!
On the outside of the bundle I added a long cherished midwifery piece by Jane iris of a squatting woman in birth, above her site a rose to remind us to open blossom to our full potential and on the back is a pomegranate fruit.
Pomegranates are ancient fruits that represent about fertility and sexuality of the goddess.
Inside your bundle you will find:
Mugwort: has been added to each bundle for it's properties within the realm of our dreamtime, ad it is known to enhance our dreams and help us remember them. For those who journey shamanically it is also a very supportive medicine in that it supports us in having deep journeys and in remembering them when we get back.
Sage: Is a medicine of cleansing and protection, and a small pinch has been added to each bundle to support and hold us.
Clear Quartz Crystal: Each bundle has a crystal hidden within it's core, as crystals support us in our intentions, and so in this way support the work we are doing. In this case each bundle holds a different spirit or medicine and so the crystals over time will become programmed to hold and support the medicine of the bundle.
