This was a very happy accident and happened only a few days after the eclipse! I placed the drum into my dye bath, but it kept floating up so I took a small bowl and submerged it under the water to hold it down--many hours later when I pulled the hide up to check the progress I saw that the bowl had made an impression on both the front and back of the drum that looked so much like the moon through eclipse glasses I had to name it Red Eclipse!
This drum comes with a beater and moon goddess pouch with a moonstone, cowrie shell and small palm goddess.
